Each year, through a partnership with the ASUC, Cal Corps awards sponsorship to 25-30 student groups engaged in service projects that address vital community needs. Cal Corps sponsorship provides groups with leadership training, advising, and a grant to finance their service activities. All student organizations must be registered and their primary mission must be to provide off-campus service to under-resourced communities. Cal Corps sponsored groups are expected to attend a mandatory orientation, attend required leadership trainings during the year, submit Mid-Year and Year-End Progress Reports by the due date, abide by their approved budget, maintain communication with Cal Corps, and follow the budget guidelines for funded projects.
