What would you say if you have seen a native dress in Guatemala? Well, I find them astonishingly beautiful! Such delicate and intricate style of Maya culture imprinted in the dresses. I just attended the opening ceremony of the Traje de la Vida: Maya Textiles of Guatemala exhibition in the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology at the university on the 25th Sep. Aside from the spectacular textile works in the exhibition, I also saw a film footage by videographer Kathleen Mossman Vitale of Endangered Threads Documentaries as well as some as well as photography works by renowned documentarian, Jeffery Foxx. The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Sunday every week.
