The National Organization for Women is the largest organization of feminists, both men and women, in the United States. Established in 1966, they represent thousands of committed women in chapters throughout the state. California NOW (CA NOW) is the state branch of the National Organization for Women and works on issues that affect women and girls throughout California.
The purpose of BNOW is to take action to empower anyone who has, does or will identify as a woman. BNOW recognizes that all forms of marginalization are interrelated, and we strive to eliminate oppression everywhere.
BNOW strives to provide a safe space on campus and raise awareness about issues such as pay equity, body image, reproductive rights, and conscious consumerism too name a few.
