Getting around campus is easy with a variety of Campus Shuttles that go around the campus perimeter. There is also a Hill Route that takes passengers to the Space Sciences Laboratory and the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute. (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory has its own shuttle service from downtown Berkeley.) Night shuttles are also available. The campus night escort “walk” service (dial 2-WALK [9255] from any campus or “blue light” emergency phone) are available for anyone requesting a walking escort to a nearby residence, public transportation or parking facility. There are also shuttles to the Richmond Field Station and University Village in Albany. Most services are either free or available for a nominal fee. Information can be found at www.berkeley.edu/transportation.
