Bay Area Rapid Transit BART is the local subway system that links the west bay area (San Francisco/Colma) with the east bay area (Oakland, Berkeley and points south, north and east). The Oakland Airport is linked to BART by a shuttle bus that takes passengers to the Oakland Coliseum BART station, which goes to downtown Berkeley and the UC Berkeley campus via the Richmond line.
