The Wada Residence Hall Apartments are located on Dwight Way west of College Avenue, just four blocks to the Berkeley campus. Each apartment has two or three spacious bedrooms, a living/dining area, a kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. Most apartments consist of two bedrooms, and bedrooms are either double or triple occupancy.
The recently built Wada apartment incorporate aspects of both residence hall and apartment living. Each bedroom has its own lock as well as a separate lock for the main apartment door. The shared common space (kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room) is accessible for cleaning and repairs by housing staff and custodians, and for visits from live-in Residence Assistance conducting evening rounds. Housing contracts are for the 10-month Academic Year, and residents must vacate at the end of spring semester.
Furnishings - maple furniture including extra long twin size beds with underbed drawers and bookcase, desk, desk chair, closet with 3 drawer dresser.
Kitchen - full refrigerator, microwave, stove, 4 burner cooktop, kitchen table and chairs.
Living Room - couch, two chairs, coffee table, end table.
Amenities - high speed internet lines and basic cable TV hookup in bedrooms, University Residence Telephone services provided, live-in staff members, lounges and study rooms available.
A meal plan is not included, but apartment residents are welcome to purchase a Cal Dining Non Resident Meal Plan.
