This is what I thought when I was moving into the dorm for the first time. Most of you are like I am, we moved directly from home to the dorm. I was thrilled to have my own space to decorate as I wished. (then reality hit.....) I didn't have my own space.....remember that you share space in a dorm. I was one that had 3 in a room, so we were quite crowded in this tiny space. There we were, three total strangers put in a room to live together for the year. It was scary and exciting at the same time. We each had our own little area to decorate as we wished. There are so many cool and funky comforters out there, it is fun to decorate even just a small space. The thing I found about dorm life is that I wasn't on my own at all. I had made such great friendships, that it was like a family away from home. These are friendships that you will have forever. Don't go into your dorm experience with a closed mind...go in with an open heart and you will not only have a blast, but make lastiing friendships.
