WarnMe is yet another UC Berkeley's emergency alerting and warning service for students, staff, and faculty. When there is a threat to safety or health in the campus community, it will be activated to contact you through phone, text massage or email. As WarnMe is an opt-in system, you have to register to receive the warning messages and instructions. All registered information will be keep private and the service is also free to be used. The system will be activated by UCPD when there is an immediate threat to life or safety such as in an event when someone with a gun is threatening the campus or an approaching wildfire.
