I've yet to talk about this, but as this is probably coming to a sad end now, I feel I must. I applaud every person who was brave enough to speak, and sit, for their beliefs. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to act when the odds are so definitely against you. I believe in their cause, and I believe another option was possible, if the powers that be cared enough about our environment and the future of our world more than they do about athletics. That's a bad sign. This campus, this community, should care more than what they apparently do. That is sad. My heart goes out to the tree sitters and demonstrators, and most of all, to our children. They are the biggest losers.
