The professors here are a great bunch of people. They're very friendly, and they're experts in their fields. They have the patience to answer your questions, if you have any, and they're quick to understand when you don't agree with them, or want to have a contradictory discussion. However, they're also very strict, and will not tolerate laziness and stupidity. So if you're lazy and / or stupid, you have no place at Berkeley. But then again, if you're lazy and / or stupid, you have no place anywhere else.
