I just thought I would throw this in because I personally went through this and witnessed first hand some of my friends who naively went through the same thing. Ok, Yes you've gone to Stanford and Graduated and now you have this great addition to your resume, that in no way - shape - or form means that you are going to step out in the world and run your own business or have positions of high pay and power thrown at your feet. You are most likely going to have to take on some less then idyllic jobs and suffer through some low pay and ladder climbing. But don't fret if you are willing to work hard you have the education behind you to make it far so just don't take for granted that it will be an easy go.
