A group of UC Berkeley tree-dwelling protesters who are angry over the campus expansion plans have been living in the branches of a threatened oak grove for the last eighteen months. I can't believe what they did in their final time towards the tree removing day. They howled, flung excrement and shook tree branches as campus-hired arborists cut supply lines and removed gear. I think that they went a bit too far in their acts. Even though UC Berkeley is a public university which is partially funded by taxpayers money, they should keep their cool! Even though they resorted to such an extreme acts, they won't be able to put a stop to those planned expansions. The trees will still have to go! This is the price we have to pay for development!
