As it is with most new students, meeting people seemed rather daunting, but I found some extremely useful tips and ideas on Stanford's website in the Student Affairs section. This is the first college website that actually includes "icebreakers", or games to get people talking during club meetings. The Toilet Paper Game is especially interesting, and sneaky. I hadn't heard of it before. There are even an Event Planning Workshops, which I hadn't seen listed in websites for colleges in many other states. It looks like Stanford really provides as many opportunities as possible for students to create a balanced lifestyle.
