If you are coming from the east coast, especially the northeast, you know that you will experience all kinds of weather changes threwout the year. Going West is the place to be! The weather at UC Berkeley is awesome. What is better than sunshine almost every day! Bring lots of cool clothing, lots of cute sandles, those great sunglasses and don't forget the sunblock. From morning to evening, you can stay in your cutest summer outfit! Great weather and great times. The downfall...you won't see the season change. That is what I'd miss the most. I love seeing the leaves changing in the fall. None of that in Sunny California.
