My Morning Jacket is going to play STUBB’s on August 25th. What a great way to get the fall semester off to a great start, if you ask me. It’s no secret we have the greatest city in the world for live music, and we can’t help but acknowledge it’s a perk to being a UT Student. So it’s our DUTY to start the year off right by seeing what many believe to be one of the best live bands playing today. I’ve seen MMJ a number of times, and Stubb’s, for those of you who haven’t been around Austin yet, is one of the many great venues to see live music. So let’s show MMJ how UT Students can welcome a great band to a great music town. The show is sold out, but there's always a way to find tickets... we may just have to get creative.
