Austin is a rough place in some ways but the parties there are loud and get you where you want to go. The beer is cheap and the clubs are hopping most of the year round. Frat parties like most colleges are pretty tame compared to what you hardcore partiers will like but then this is college, you come here to learn not to waste your time partying all the time don't you? Anyway any sane person will be happy with the social life at The University of Texas in Austin.
