If you're in Middlebury, take the time to stop by Tully & Marie's. It's located right on Otter Creek so you can get seating that directly overlooks the water; really pretty. The waitresses are extremely friendly and the food is delicious. In my four years there I was never once disappointed. Sunday brunch is popular, as is their pad thai (I think there's still a special for it on Tuesday evenings). It's all good really, and the atmosphere is great too: white table clothes with a flower and candle add a nice touch of elegance.
