Shakespeare At Winedale is preparing for its summer performances from mid-July through mid-August. This is a fantastic program because while it’s run by UT Austin, the performers are students from all over the world who attend the summer program in Austin. It’s a great opportunity to see talented students from all over who’ve worked together for only a short time, yet pull together a wonderful program. This year they’re performing Romeo and Juliet; The Merchant of Venice; and Antony and Cleopatra. The program itself has come a long way, now including year-round activities as well as a number of community outreach efforts.
