Once most people turn 21 at CAL, they head out to SF to party. The bar scene in Berkeley is ok, but not great. There are just so many choices in the city, so my girls and I like going out there. It's way easy to get out there as well. Just jump on BART, and you're in the city within minutes. It probably takes about 10 minutes to get into the financial district and from there, you can just take a cab to the Marina or Polk street.
