Most people at CAL go to SF once they hit 21. There's just more to do out there, plus its really easy to get out there with Bart. It runs to about 1am I think, but it still leaves you with plenty of time to have a great time. There are just so many more bars to choose from. So I would say the nightlife in SF is the way to go.
